Designed keeping the automotive environment in mind, this light emulates the classic trouble lights that mechanics are familiar with. We used Surface-Mounted Diodes (SMD) as the light source for more power and less heat generation and added a flexible, shatter-resistant Polycarbonate (PC) plastic reflector. For hands-free use we incorporated strong magnets on the base and the back as well as a pull-out rotating hook for use when there is no magnetic surface.
